Here is our schedule for the week of Apr. 24-29. Oiler Nation Day at the Ballpark is Friday and we have lots of free giveaways for kids, along with free hot dogs, and water. A concession stand will also be open for other items at each field.
Fantastic job by everyone involved in the production of Seussical the Musical. There will be a matinee performance tomorrow, Sunday,at 2 PM.
Congratulations to our Sectional Champions in Super Smash Bros Crew Battle. They will compete in the IHSA State Finals next weekend!
EAWR Thespian Troupe 733 presents Seussical The Musical and has two shows left. Tonight, Saturday the 22nd at 7 pm and a Sunday Matinee at 2 Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and children.

**Seniors--Mrs Robinson shared with you the first draft of the Distinguished Graduate list. She did conferences with multiple of you this week and you have until next Wednesday the 26th to get in any additional paperwork. If you think you should be on the list and aren't and she didn't conference with you please email her ASAP.
**Seniors: Any senior who knows where they are going to school or have signed up for the military please come to the main office so Mrs. Robinson can take your picture for senior spotlights.

**This year's Spring Musical “Seussical The Musical” is tonight and tomorrow at 7pm, and Sunday at 2pm in the Auditorium. Tickets may be purchased in advance from Mrs. Guthrie in the main office or from any cast or crew member. Advanced tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students K-12. Tickets at the door will be $10 for adults, $7 dollars for students and children 5-11. 4 and under are free. An interpreter for the Hearing Impaired will be provided for the Sunday matinee performance.
**The senior exemption list for FAFSA and attendance has been shared. Seniors who completed FAFSA must have 6 or few absences to be exempt and also have a passing grade in the class. We will update the list daily. If you feel like there is an error and you should be on the list, see Mr. Gockel or Mrs. Robinson.
**Monday, April 24th through Thursday, April 27th is National Prevention Week and Peer Leadership is sponsoring daily activities during each lunch hour including bingo, trivia and a pledge to be drug free. Let's also show our support by the colors we wear:
Monday wear red for substance abuse prevention.
Tuesday wear blue for tobacco youth prevention.
Wednesday wear purple for overdose prevention,
Thursday wear teal and purple for suicide prevention.
**Senator Erica Harris is hosting a Community Shred Event and Clean Up Day at the Wood River Police Department tomorrow from 8-11 am and is wanting EAWR students to be involved. If you are interested in volunteering please sign up in the Attendance Center.

Students will have themed-activities during lunch these days, and the school will also have four dress up days to show support for various prevention causes.
