The first football game is tomorrow night, and Coach will still allow players to join if they register by the end of the weekend. **There will be a 2 pm dismissal from now until Friday August 28th. Please see your schedules folder for additional schedule details.
**Students can purchase a fall athletic pass from the Attendance Center for $5. This pass will allow an EAWR student into all fall home games for $5 (football/volleyball) except for IHSA contests. All fall athletes and band members get into fall events for free.
**Senior spirit club members please meet in the courtyard after school on Thursday to do a pep assembly practice.
**Spirit club will be sponsoring a poster party on Thursday the 20th from 6-8 pm in the courtyard. All seniors are invited to attend and community service hours will be issued to seniors that attend. Mrs. Robinson will provide pizza.
**There will be a short meeting for senior mentors in the CCC at 8:30 am on Friday the 20th--senior mentor names have been shared with faculty and staff.
**There will be a tailgate with pizza, chips, soda/water from 6:15-6:40 in the area by the tennis courts on Friday before the home varsity football game. All students and staff are invited to attend. The theme for the football game this Friday is Camo and all students are invited to be on the field during pre-game and sit in the student section.
**Seniors: Would you like to be the next Oiler Dan? If you have a lot of spirit and would like to try out at the pep assembly on Friday the 21st please sign up in this sheet. Please note that you must be available to attend night games during the week and on Friday nights.
**Juniors and seniors, there will be a roadblock this Saturday to raise money for this year’s after prom. Please see Mrs. Timmins if you are able to sign up and help work it.
**There will be a meeting at 2:10 on Tuesday, August 25th in the College and Career Center for seniors interested in running for Harvest Queen. Candidates must be a senior and have a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher to be eligible to run. The meeting is mandatory, however, if you are in work-study or have another conflict please, contact Mrs. Robinson prior to the meeting.
**Looking ahead to next week there will be a freshman mentor meeting on Wednesday the 26th at 10:35 am. Only freshmen and mentors will leave class on Wednesday the 26th during that time.

It was great seeing all the freshmen, their families, and staff at Trucking Into High School tonight. Heaterz, Saucee, and Tropical Sno were great and everyone really enjoyed the food. Special thanks to Ms Hollaway for all her hard work helping plan the event. We are ready to kick off the 2026-2027 school year and Do Great Things!!

Doors for freshmen orientation will not open until 7:30 am and all freshmen need to arrive by 8:00 am. Freshmen orientation is for first time freshmen students only.
