**The senior assembly is today and all students will attend. Teachers please escort your class to the Memorial Gym at 1:15 and sit with your class in the assigned area sent from Mrs Vambaketes. Seniors are dismissed at 1 pm to get seated. This is a formal assembly to celebrate our seniors. The schedule for today can also be found in the Schedules Google Folder.
**Hartford Elementary is having a Spring Carnival tonight from 3:30-6:30 pm and are looking for volunteers. Volunteers will help with the different stations and also face painting. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Anyone interested in playing football, there will be a meeting Thursday during Academic lab in the CCC.

Night #3 of Little Shop of Horrors! There is one more show tomorrow afternoon at 2 pm.
Great job by our drama department on their musical production of Little Shop of Horrors. The next show is tomorrow, Saturday night at 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM. Everyone involved did an amazing job. Also thank you to the seniors for their dedication to this program throughout high school.










Chemistry II had the opportunity to tour Clinton Nuclear Power Station.

**Students, in recognition of teacher appreciation week next week, Student Council has set up a table in the courtyard for students to write thank-you notes to any of the adults at our school. Simply write the card, sign it, and place it in the box on the table. Student council will deliver the cards and you can write as many as you like!

**In recognition of NASA's Black Hole Week, Mrs. Timmins's science class has placed black holes around campus with information about them. Students can pick up black hole week questions outside of Mrs. Timmins room and everyone who correctly answers the questions and returns them to her by today, will get a prize.
**EAWR Thespian Troupe 733 presents Little Shop of Horrors The Musical tonight, tomorrow Saturday the 2nd at 7 pm. There will also be a Sunday Matinee at 2 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door: $10 for adults and $7 for students and children 5 and under are free.

Simply write the card, sign it, and place it in the box on the table. Student council will deliver the cards and you can write as many as you like!
**Attention Seniors! Please check your email. There is important information regarding your Chromebooks and graduation.
**Seniors – Mrs. Robinson has finished the distinguished graduate interviews. There are 7 seniors that need to follow up with Mrs. Robinson by today regarding one of the criteria. If a senior thinks they should have had a distinguished grad interview please email Mrs Robinson ASAP so she can review your data.
Here are the criteria to be a distinguished graduate. Seniors must meet all 7.
1. 2.75 GPA or higher
2. 95% attendance rate over 4 years or the 2 non COVID years (junior/senior year)
3. Been involved in 2 clubs, activities, or sports.
4. Not been suspended from school
5. Been in a capstone class senior year
6. More community service than required
7. 23 or more credits
**In recognition of NASA's Black Hole Week, Mrs. Timmins's science class has placed black holes around campus with information about them. Students can pick up black hole week questions outside of Mrs. Timmins room and everyone who correctly answers the questions and returns them to her by today, will get a prize.
**EAWR Thespian Troupe 733 presents Little Shop of Horrors The Musical tonight, tomorrow Saturday the 2nd at 7 pm. There will also be a Sunday Matinee at 2 pm. Tickets will be sold at the door: $10 for adults and $7 for students and children 5 and under are free.
**Oiler SHINE will meet today in room E120 during Academic Lab.
**Seniors–please remember that all community service hours need to be completed by today for graduation.
**The senior spotlight link has been shared with seniors multiple times through email. Please encourage your senior student to fill out the link so they can be highlighted on the webpage and facebook page.
**Hartford Elementary is having a Spring Carnival on Wednesday, May 6th from 3:30-6:30 pm and are looking for volunteers. Volunteers will help with the different stations and also face painting. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Seniors: If you have received a scholarship that will not be presented at the Senior Assembly on Wednesday, May 6th, please stop by the Attendance Center and give the information to Ms. Guthrie so it can be read at the assembly. Also, if you are joining the military after graduation, please give that information to Ms. Guthrie as well. Only information reported will be read at the Senior Assembly.
**The Senior Assembly is Wednesday, May 6th at 1:20 pm in the Memorial Gym and all senior families are invited to attend.
**Mrs. Robinson shared the senior 1st semester attendance exemption list. In order to be on the attendance list a senior must have 3 or fewer excused absences and 2 or fewer tardies. If you clear obligations and have a C or better in a class you don't have to take that final. Mrs. Robinson also shared the ACT semester exemption list. In order to be on this list a senior must have attended all 3 ACT sessions last spring and have 6 or fewer absences. If you clear obligations and are passing the class you don't have to take that final.
Another exemption this year, that is separate from this list, is if a student has an A and now a B because of the student council food drive, regardless if you are on the attendance list, you are exempt from the final that you have an A or B in the class regardless of attendance or obligations.
– Seniors, if you think there is an error please stop by the Attendance Center. This list will also be updated for attendance daily and obligations.
**Senior finals are Thursday, May 7th hours 4-6 and Friday, May 8th early bird and hours 1-3. Remember that seniors MUST take all finals unless they have an A or a B in the class or are on the exemption list. All information is available to students in Google Drive.
**Graduation notes were shared with seniors in Google Drive plus copies of the notes can be picked up in the Guidance Office. All information about graduation practice, tickets, dress for the graduation ceremony, etc is included.

This year's annual Ice Cream Social and Yearbook Signing. Thanks to Mr. James/yearbook class for putting together another great yearbook and Ms Hollaway for organizing the Ice Cream Social.









Rotary and RYLA students attended an event sponsored by the Riverbend East Rotary Club at Belk Park Pavillion today. A donation was given to Lily Bock for her future exchange program in Italy.
