East Alton-Wood River Community High School District #14 is accepting applications for three full-time Instructional Aide positions for the 2026-2027 school year.
These positions play an important role in supporting students, teachers, and the overall learning environment at EAWR. Candidates must possess, or be eligible for, a Paraprofessional License.

**Free Madison County Transit summer bus passes are here! All students, 18 and under, can ride free from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Pick up your pass in the Attendance Center.
**Juniors – If you are interested in joining Spirit Club your senior year please sign up in the document that Mrs. Robinson shared. We will start having meetings at the end of July or beginning of August to start planning for the year so please check your email over the summer.
**Summer school is Tuesday, May 26th-Friday, June 26th. If a student needs to take summer school or there are questions regarding summer school please contact the student’s guidance counselor Mrs Vambaketes or Mrs Struif. Forms are available in the Guidance Office and they need to be returned as soon as possible.

Congratulations to Oilers Softball as they won 17-3 over Metro East Lutheran yesterday! Ellie Beachum had 6 strike outs in 2 innings and Liberty Fry pitched the final 3 innings and struck out 5 batters. Emily Fry and Teagan Short both had 2 hits in the ball game.
