Due to dangerously cold temperatures expected in the morning and worsening throughout the day, EAWR will observe a remote learning day tomorrow, Friday, January 23.
Students should follow their teachers’ guidance for remote instruction and assignments.
Coaches will communicate directly with athletes regarding practices and activities.

**The theme for tonight's girls basketball game is oil spill.
**There will be a “Saturday Scholars” meeting in the CCC during academic lab today. If you cannot attend, be sure to see Mrs. Clendenny before the end of the day on Friday, January 23rd.
**Anyone interested in participating in golf next year is invited to come practice on the simulator today from 3-5pm. The simulator will be open every Wednesday from 3-5pm starting next week and will continue until it becomes nice enough to practice outside at Belk Park Golf Course. Golf is open to anyone, boys and girls, not participating in another fall sport. Please see Coach Forsting with any questions.
**Oiler SHINE Members, we will have a meeting Friday during Academic Lab in Room E121.
**Seniors: Friday the 30th is a half day and we are sponsoring a community service opportunity for seniors only in the Courtyard. We will be making valentines for the local nursing and assisted living homes from 11:30-2:30. We will provide pizza for lunch and all supplies. If you are interested in earning 3 hours of community service please sign up in the google doc shared by Mrs Robinson.
**Students who were on high honor roll 1st semester are eligible for a voucher for two free tickets to a Cardinal baseball game. See Mrs. Dixon in the Guidance Office to pick up the voucher.
**Seniors, please let Mrs. Struif know if you are planning to attend Lewis and Clark Community College next year. There will be an "Early Bird" registration on March 3 where you will sign up for your classes for next year, talk about financial aid, and tour the school.
