Save the date and plan on attending Military Appreciation Night at the varsity football game at EAWR on Sept. 13. We are working with Riverbend Patriots to bring much deserved recognition to our veterans and active military personnel. We are planning several pregame demonstrations in addition to having various military vehicles at and around the stadium.
Riverbend Patriots is a non profit organization out of Alton whose focus is helping veterans, service members, and first responders heal through fellowship and activities.

One of our many projects and facility upgrades this summer is moving along nicely. The AUD gym floor has been completely redone. This is the original gym floor to the main building. We stripped years of wax off and put new lines and graphics on. New basketball goals and batting cages will be installed soon along with new graphics on the black wall.

Our sports and school physical event is coming soon in the College and Career Center here at EAWR.

Please review the attached letter regarding the new entry procedures for the 2024-2025 school year.

Oiler athletes were invited to Camp Otto today to play with the campers. Thank you to Tyler Lafferty and the Wood River Rec Center for the invite!

The time is now to register your high school student for fall sports. Doing this now allows the athletic dept. to look at who we have physicals for and proactively reach out to parents so their child can participate on day one of official practices. Let us help you. Click the "athletic registration" tab in the middle of the eawr.net website to complete the process. Let's go Oilers!

Our first varsity football home game will be a very special night! All current and former members of the military and their immediate families will receive free admission. We are planning a fantastic pregame ceremony that you won't want to miss.
We are working closely with Riverbend Patriots in the planning of this event. Riverbend Patriots is a local non for profit that helps local veterans, current service members, first responders and their families.
