SENIOR SUNRISE
Seniors—once again this year the school will sponsor senior sunrise where seniors come as a class to the track the morning before the 1st day of school to watch the sunrise. This year all seniors are invited to have donuts and watch the sunrise as a class at 6 am on, Wednesday the 14th. We are typically done at 6:30 am.
Please note this event is only for senior students.
We look forward to having a great 2024-2025 school year.

School Physical Information
Here are the times and locations for the first official practices of the fall athletic season.
Parents must register their student for athletics on Snap Manage by going to EAWR.net and clicking athletic registration. If a returning student or freshman coming in from East Alton or Lewis & Clark, log in with the same email and password as you used at those schools. Only fall sports are open for registration currently.
Registration/Parking/Freshmen Information
Registration for the 24-25 school year is open and must be completed online.
If any student in early band or early bird PE and needs transportation please contact Mr Moxey at 254-3151 ext 2561.
Students are required to park in the Gym Lot at no charge. Parking spots will be selected on Monday, Aug 5th in the Main Office. The times are as follows:
Seniors--8:00-9:00 am
Juniors–9:00 am-10:00 am
Be sure to know the make/model/license plate number of your vehicle.
If you can't come during your time, you may stop by the Main Office after your scheduled time.
Freshmen Orientation is Tuesday, August 13th from 8-10:30 am. Freshmen need to report to door E2 (bus circle). Doors for freshmen orientation will not open until 7:30 am and all freshmen need to arrive by 8:00 am. Freshmen orientation is for first time freshmen students only. Bus routes can be found on the school webpage www.eawr.net.
All freshmen and their families are invited to Trucking Into High School, August 13th--6 pm-8 pm (open house format). Please RSVP to Carla Guthrie at (618) 254-3151 ext 2501 or email Leigh Robinson at lrobinson@eawr.org with the number of family members attending.

Our school physical event has been a big success! SIHF has administered school and sport physicals to over 25 families so far. The event runs until 6:00 tonight here in our College & Career Center.

Tomorrow is our physical event! SIHF Medical group will be conducting physicals in our College & Career Center from 1:00 until 6:00 pm. It is recommended to call ahead and pre-register but they will take walk-ins tomorrow.
