Friday, September 9, 2022 **Coronation (crowning of the Queen) will be held at 7:30 pm on Saturday, September 24th. This event is open to the public and all tickets must be purchased at the door for $5. Following Coronation there will be a short photo session in the East Building Courtyard. The Homecoming Dance is Saturday, September 24th from 9-11 pm. Approved guests may attend but guest forms are due by September 16th. The dance will be held in the Courtyard and students will enter through door E2. The cost for the dance is $5 paid at the door. **Interested in working with fellow students in Madison County on improving the health and wellness of students? The Madison County ROE #41 is asking for 2 students from each high school to represent their district on the Madison County Youth Council. Wednesday, September 7, 2022 **The sophomore class ring assembly is today during academic lab. All sophomores will receive a class ring packet at the assembly. If a student is absent, please stop by the Guidance Office for a packet. **There will be a spirit club meeting today during academic lab in E121. **The East Alton Soapbox Derby is this Saturday. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in the Attendance Center. Volunteers need to arrive at 9:15 am and the event will be over around 2 pm. All volunteers need to meet at the check station by Tropical Sno in East Alton (by the old EA Shop n Save). If you volunteer please wear an Oiler shirt or another appropriate t-shirt plus be sure to sign in and sign out. Again the sign up is in the Attendance Center. **After school tutoring is available in E118 from 2:30-3:00 Monday through Thursday. **Guest forms for the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 24th, are available in the Attendance Center. If a student plans to bring a guest the form must be turned in by September 16th. Rules about which guests can and can’t attend the dance are listed on the form. More information regarding Coronation and the dance will be available in the coming weeks. **Tri City Soccer has increased their rate for soccer Officials. The pay is now $20 for Rookie and $25 for junior & senior per game.
