At our IHSA playoff viewing party last night, Coach Herron announced that Seth Slayden has officially broken the school's all time single season rushing record. The record was previously held by Oiler great Travis Williams who went on to play at the University of Illinois.

Aidan Loeffelman finished 8th overall today at the Wesclin Regional, qualifying for Sectionals next Saturday.

**Orders will be taken for playoff football shirts outside the bus circle just inside the stadium gate from 1-5pm for the general public and during both lunches today in the cafeteria. Students may not leave class to purchase a shirt during school hours but may do so after school until 5pm. T-shirts are $20 and sweatshirts are $30. You must pay when you order and they will accept cash, Visa or Venmo.
**Student Council is hosting a pumpkin painting party and contest. If you would like to participate, please sign up in the attendance center. We will paint pumpkins on Wednesday, October 26th after school in the courtyard. All supplies will be provided, but we are limited to 25 participants, so sign up asap!
**EAWR will be hosting a FAFSA workshop in the College and Career Center located in the Main Building on Tuesday, October 25th at 6 pm. If any senior and parent/guardian would like to attend to learn about financial aid please contact Mrs. Struif. FAFSA completion is a requirement for graduation.
**Chief Wells and the City of Wood River is looking for volunteers to walk in the WR Parade on Saturday, October 29th to hand out flyers for the chili dinner and also hand them out following the parade. You would need to arrive at 10 am and should be done around 12:30 pm. If you are interested please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Lifetouch will be here today from 7:45-11:15 am for Picture Retake Day. Students, faculty, and staff who did not get pictures taken in September, please take time to go to the auditorium for retakes. Also, if you are unhappy with the photos from our first picture day, this is your opportunity to get new ones. Order forms are available in the Main Office.
**The Village of Hartford is hosting a Fall Fun Fest tomorrow. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Kristie Luebbert at 618-792-8820. All hours volunteered will count toward the community service graduation requirement.

Winners of 5 of their last 6 games, Oiler Volleyball travels to Breese Central tonight for their final regular season game of the season. The team will play Roxana at the IHSA Regional next Monday at 7:00 pm at Wesclin H.S. in Trenton.

The City of Wood River has issued a boil order for the area of Wood River around the high school for the next 24 hours. We are requesting students bring their own bottled water to school tomorrow because water fountains will not be accessible.
