In varsity boys basketball, the Oilers fall just short in overtime today vs. the Hilltoppers.
Varsity Boys Basketball will play Hillsboro this afternoon in the fifth place game at the Carlinville Holiday Tournament. The game will be played at Carlinville High School and will also be live on the NFHS Network.
The Oilers play Sandoval in the Winterfest consolation bracket semi-final today at noon in Centralia. Lily Tretter led the Oilers yesterday with 18 points, 6 steals, and 6 rebounds in the win over Elvorado/Zeigler-Royalton.

Boys basketball is underway and Booster Club has Heaterz Chicken in the concession stand. Freshman are underway followed by JV and Varsity.
Each night will feature a short Jr. Oilers Exhibition game starting at 5 pm followed by the high school games. There will be fun activities for the Jr. Oilers at halftime of the high school games. Jr. Oilers and their parents receive free admission to the game
