Morning Announcements for: Tuesday, October 31, 2023 **Anyone interested in joining the Scholar Bowl team should meet in Mrs. Miller's room (E224) during Academic Lab tomorrow. If you aren't able to be at the meeting, please stop by and see Mrs. Miller as soon as possible. **Are you ready to Rock November? Let's get ready with a school wide Rock, Paper, Scissors Challenge! Wednesday November 1st - to kick off the month of November - All students will receive 2 beaded necklaces. During passing periods & lunch, you can challenge a classmate with a beaded necklace to a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors. Winner takes 1 beaded necklace. There will also be Gold Beads to win from staff! Awesome prizes are up for the taking! Wednesday, Beads and Rules will be given during 1st hour. Let's get ready to rock! **Say "Boo" to Bullying! Stop by the Guidance Office Bulletin Board located in the East Building to read inspirational Boos by students and pick up a sweet treat while they last! **Coach Colona is looking for volunteers to help with the Great River Road Run on Saturday, November 26, from 8am to noon. If interested please contact Coach Colona at the email address sent to you by Mrs. Robinson.

Please bring your Chromebook if you wish to attend and play competitive esports for EAWR. **Students: JFL is looking for volunteers this Sunday, October 29th. There are two different shifts: 10:30 am-1 pm and 1 pm-3 pm. If you would like to sign up please do so in the document shared by Mrs Robinson. **Student Council is hosting a blood drive on October 30th during the school day. You must be 16 or older to donate and those who donate will receive a voucher for a gift card. Please see or email Mrs. Timmins to make an appointment. **This week is National Red Ribbon Week, sponsored by Peer Leadership. This year's theme is "Be Kind to Your Mind - Live Drug Free." During lunch be sure to grab a self-care bingo card. Get a bingo and collect a prize from Ms. Mueller or Mrs. Miller. Also be on the lookout for some creepy crawlers posted around the school with prevention facts. Finally, snap a selfie with friends by the media backdrop in the East Building. Props are provided.
