Today is the last business day before the first fall practice to register for your fall sport. Any student wanting to practice on Monday must complete this process with their parent. Step by step screenshots are included with this post to assist you. Physicals may also be uploaded now which is helpful since school is not open on Friday's during the summer. Please do this today if not yet registered. Waiting until the weekend may result in athletes not being allowed to practice on Monday as the athletic department must have time to check all registrations for compliance. Fall sports senior banner photos will be taken on Mon, Aug. 7 and Tue, Aug. 8 between the hours of 1:00-3:00 pm. Senior students may walk in for their photo. Please contact your coach to get a uniform for your photo. Students will enter the middle doors of the east building between the buildings. Do not come to the bus circle doors due to construction on the new office. Contact Diane Cox to arrange a different photo time if unable to attend these two sessions next week.

One month from today is our First Responders Game! The Oilers will host the Civic Memorial Eagles at Memorial Stadium in varsity football. All first responders and their families receive free admission and will be recognized before the game on the field. Let's fill the stadium with love and appreciation for our first responders and all they do to keep our communities safe!

The IHSA fall season begins next Monday. Here is the practice schedule for next week for all teams. Remember that students may not participate in practice if they are not registered online. Go to EAWR.org and click "Athletic Registration" to complete this process. Let's go Oilers!

Tuesday and Wednesday this week is registration for New Students To The District from 8 am-3 pm in the Attendance Center located in the East Building.
--This registration is for students that didn't attend EAWR last year or didn't attend the feeder districts for 8th grade.
--Please bring proof of residency (multiple items will be required), copy of birth certificate, and any custody papers. EAWR will provide all additional paperwork needed.

Reminders for Seniors--Class of 2024
--Seniors that are in National Honor Society--there is a meeting tomorrow, Monday, July 31st at 9 am in the CCC. Information and a document has been emailed out several times. If there are questions please email Mrs Robinson.

SIHF is on site here at EAWR and although they are here for sports physicals they will also do Freshman physicals today and meningitis shots of juniors as well. You may walk in to register and we are in the College and Career Center at EAWR. This is the old library in the main building (brick building). Signs are posted on three doors indicating you have made it to the correct building.
Today is our sports physical event from 1-6 in the College & Career Center. Then, at 6:30, we are holding our fall sports parent/athlete meeting. We will begin in the auditorium and then the coaches of each specific sport will meet with their teams regarding the upcoming season. Fall sports are football, cheer, cross country, esports, boys golf, boys soccer, girls tennis, and volleyball.
