Results from Monday along with today's schedule for practices. Parents may still register their students for winter sports by going to EAWR.net and clicking "Athletic Registration". When you complete the process, you will see a message that says "Thank you for registering" and you will also receive a confirmation email. Students must have a current physical on file to participate.



Tuesday, November 12
**The annual Student Council food and hygiene drive starts this week. Please see the flyer or the signs on the boxes in the courtyard for the items we are collecting. There are prizes for filling each box, so check that out and start bringing in items!
**The Student Council bonfire is Thursday night from 6-8 out at the stadium and Oiler Nation patio. The bonfire is a free event for EAWR students ONLY! There will be activities and free food so we hope to see everyone there.
**Freshman mentor meetings are tomorrow during academic lab. Only senior mentors and freshmen should move during academic lab--everyone else stays in their 3rd hour. Room assignments for freshmen have been shared in Google Drive.
**This year’s fall play “Game of Tiaras” will be held Friday the 15th and Saturday the 16th at 7 pm and Sunday the 17th at 2 pm in the auditorium. The tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for K-12 students and children under 5 are free.
**The play teaser for Game of Tiaras will be this Friday during academic lab. All classes are invited to attend but please escort your class down. Classes from the Main/South will sit on the west side of the auditorium and East on the east side of the auditorium. Mrs. Robinson will send a list of students involved in the teaser later this week.

Wood River Ave is closed due to a sink hole in the road north of Chick Summers Drive (near the north parking lot) at the front of the Main Building. Please plan accordingly to avoid this area in the morning and after school.

Here is our schedule for the week. Boys Basketball practices and Wrestling practices officially begin tomorrow. Students must be registered on SnapManage and have a good physical in Skyward to be able to participate. Because of the Veteran's Day event in Memorial Gym, please note the location of basketball practices. Wrestling will be at the Roughnecks building this week.
Go to EAWR.net and click "Athletic Registration" to sign your student up for their winter sport or activity.

Thank you to the EAWR Guidance Counselors for organizing the College and Career Night. Also thank you to all the representatives from colleges/universities, businesses, and the military. We had a good turn out at the event.






EAWRs College and Career Night 5-7 pm in the Memorial Gym. All parents and students are invited to attend from any local high school. Also, thanks to the US Army for providing the sandwiches for the hospitality room.





Thursday, November 7
**Seniors: Tomorrow seniors can earn community service hours by completing campus clean up at the school. This will be something that is on your own in terms of time. If you are interested please stop by the Attendance Center to pick up supplies.
**Seniors who need community service can sign up in the attendance center for Parent Teacher Conferences. Conference dates are today from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
**The College and Career Fair is tonight from 5-7. There are approximately 50 representatives from colleges, trade schools, the workforce, and the military. Please plan to attend and bring your family and friends. There will be attendance prizes for EAWR students! Make sure you pick up a passport to enter yourself into the drawing.
**All community service hours turned in through last Thursday have been updated in Skyward.
**We are off tomorrow due to Parent Teacher conferences. Monday we are off for Veteran’s Day.

Tomorrow, Thursday, November 7th from 5-7 pm EAWR is hosting a College and Career Night for all EAWR students/parents and other local high school students/parents in the Memorial Gym. There will be different colleges/universities, branches of the military, and business representatives. There will also be some attendance drawings for students. One senior EAWR student will also win a MacBook Air.


Congratulations to our boys golfers on their season! They were recognized in the simulator room on Monday night.
Also, a big thanks to our simulator sponsors for helping us provide this amazing practice facility for our golfers!

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 6:00 in the CCC the guidance department will be hosting a Financial Aid Night for those students that will be continuing their education after high school. Please plan to come and bring a parent/guardian.
