**Spirit Club is sponsoring a poster party from 6-8 pm in the East Building Courtyard tonight to make senior winter season posters. All seniors are invited to attend. Mrs. Robinson will provide pizza for the meeting.
**Attention EAWR athletes and students. Starting today, there will be lifting sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at 3pm. These sessions are designed to be open to all athletes and students at EAWR. So whether you are an experienced lifter looking to stay in shape between sports or a first time lifter all are welcome and we hope to see you there. If you have any questions please see Mr. Osborne.
**Youth Alive - Student led Bible Study will meet on the 1st and 4th Wednesdays of the month during academic lab in Mrs. Roethe's room E119. The first meeting is on Wednesday, December 3. If you would like to attend, see her for a pass prior to the first meeting. We hope to see you there.
**Students can purchase a winter athletic pass from the Attendance Center for $5. This pass will allow an EAWR student into all winter home games for $5 (basketball/wrestling) except for IHSA contests. All winter athletes and band members get into winter events for free.

For senior photos, head/shoulder pictures in portrait orientation tend to work best, but we can work with pics that don't fit those criteria. Keep in mind that some photos will have to be cropped. Hard copies of photos will be scanned and returned. Digital photos need to be high resolution/high quality in JPG format, AT LEAST 640 X 800 pixels (.8 aspect ratio) and 300 dpi. For the baby pics, we will work with whatever is available. JPGs should be emailed to cjames@eawr.org

ESports traveled to Springfield on Wednesday to showcase our program. Coach Jerman and Mr. Verdun have done great things with this program. Also, a shoutout to our retired, Mr. Matrix-Wand who also was key in starting this program years ago!

Senior mentors should leave at 10:35 am to go to their rooms and freshmen should leave at the bell for academic lab to go to their assigned rooms. Ms. Arment's Journalism Class visited some local businesses on Thursday-- Bri’s Brew@ Downtown's WestEnd & Courtyard and Cafe LaNae & Bakery.
The City of Wood River is sponsoring a Veteran's Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 4:00 pm at EAWR Memorial Gym.
There is no school on Monday, November 10th due to having parent teacher conferences this past week. There is also no school on Tuesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. Students will return to school on Wednesday, November 13th.
Great job by all the students involved in the production of The War of the Worlds. The next performance is tomorrow night at 7 PM and Sunday at 2 PM.

EAWR students represented our school proudly at the Youth Advisory Council hosted by Senator Erica Harriss.
They spent the day discussing leadership, civic engagement, and the importance of youth voices in government. We’re so proud of these Oilers for stepping up as future community leaders!
