**National Random Acts of Kindness Day was this past Tuesday, February 17th. Let's give a shout out to these kind acts...
–To Mrs. Roethe and Mrs. Bailey from Anonymous - They brought Valentine’s Day cheer to the department by decorating our doors!
–To Teagan Short from Anonymous - She helped me pick up my mess.
–To Unknown Oiler Student from Callie Mahan - I didn't get her name, but when I had my hands full with my coffee and food from the cafeteria in the morning, everyone walked past and didn’t hold the door for me, but she did and I really appreciate it!
**Diane Cox will be here during Academic Lab next Tuesday and Thursday to take senior banner photos for spring sports. Senior athletes should get a uniform from their coach and bring it next Tuesday or Thursday for their photo.
**Guest forms for the King’s dance are now available outside of Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daniels classrooms. Guest forms are due back by February 26th.
**Seniors: Parent teacher conferences are Wednesday, the 25th, and Thursday, the 26th, from 4-7 pm. Each night is a 3 hour community service opportunity for seniors only. If you are interested in working one or both nights, please sign up in the attendance center.
**Any students 16 or over that would like to donate blood at our spring blood drive on March 4th should see or email Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels for an appointment.

Good luck to Michael Soto as he competes at the IHSA State Wrestling Tournamwnt. We had a sendoff for him today in the courtyard. Good luck, Michael and coaches.
Congratulations to all the students that were recognized at the Renaissance Assembly today. All of the students recognized had great attendance, behavior and a 3.0 or higher GPA first semester.

Announcements for Wed, Feb. 18:
Tonight we celebrated Mr. Gockel as he is finishing his final home game of supervision. He retires at the end of the season after serving 19 years for EAWR. 8 years was as AD and 19 total as Dean/Assistant Principal.
We also had some halftime fun with half court shots!
