**Students can purchase a fall athletic pass from the Attendance Center for $5. This pass will allow an EAWR student into all fall home games for $5 (football/volleyball) except for IHSA contests. All fall athletes and band members get into fall events for free.
**Senior spirit club members please meet in the courtyard after school on Thursday to do a pep assembly practice.
**Spirit club will be sponsoring a poster party on Thursday the 20th from 6-8 pm in the courtyard. All seniors are invited to attend and community service hours will be issued to seniors that attend. Mrs. Robinson will provide pizza.
**There will be a short meeting for senior mentors in the CCC at 8:30 am on Friday the 20th--senior mentor names have been shared with faculty and staff.
**There will be a tailgate with pizza, chips, soda/water from 6:15-6:40 in the area by the tennis courts on Friday before the home varsity football game. All students and staff are invited to attend. The theme for the football game this Friday is Camo and all students are invited to be on the field during pre-game and sit in the student section.

Candidates must be a senior and have a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher to be eligible to run. It was great seeing all the freshmen, their families, and staff at Trucking Into High School tonight. Heaterz, Saucee, and Tropical Sno were great and everyone really enjoyed the food. Special thanks to Ms Hollaway for all her hard work helping plan the event. We are ready to kick off the 2026-2027 school year and Do Great Things!!

Doors for freshmen orientation will not open until 7:30 am and all freshmen need to arrive by 8:00 am. Freshmen orientation is for first time freshmen students only. We invite everyone to our annual Maroon & Gold Night to "Meet the Oilers" this Friday!
Due to the heat, girls tennis will meet at the tennis courts at 9 am tomorrow morning. Please remember to register your tennis player on Snap Manage by going to EAWR.net and clicking "Athletic Registration". We also need a current physical on file in the office. If your tennis player is a new student to the district, we will not have a physical for them. You may bring a copy to the Attendance Center between 8 am and 3 pm daily or email a copy to mbeatty@eawr.org.
