Today is Wednesday, October 13, 2021 **On Wednesday, October 27, there will be a meeting in the auditorium during academic lab for junior and senior students who are interested in helping out with this year's Oiler Olympics. If you would like to attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Kinkel in the cafe or Mrs. Boyd for a pass. Students without passes will not be able to attend the meeting that day. **Lifetouch will be back on Monday, October 18th starting at 7:45 for Picture Retake Day. If you missed our first Picture Day, please make sure to get your photo taken next Monday. Forms are available in the main office. **Seniors! There will be a workshop for you and your parent/guardian to attend on October 25th at 6:00. We will discuss financial aid for college and will help you fill out the FAFSA. The FAFSA is something you need to fill out for graduation and also if you plan to attend college. Please let Mrs. Struif know if you will be attending. **There will be a girls basketball meeting next Thursday, October 21st, during academic lab in the auditorium. Please stop by attendance for a pass to attend.

The Guidance Department is hosting a Financial Aid and FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) Night on Monday, October 25th beginning at 6:00 p.m. The FAFSA is an application that all seniors attending college in Fall 2022 must complete for Federal student aid. It is also a graduation requirement this year. The night will be held in the East building courtyard where there will be Financial Aid Experts available to help you complete your application. Space is limited, so please contact Mrs. Struif in the Guidance Department at email@example.com or 618-254-3151 ext 2532 to reserve a seat.

Aidan Loeffelman ran the race of his life today. He was in 3rd position for 2.5 miles of today's race before surging and dropping everyone to win the entire Junior race! It was a 3 mile PR of 16:42 for Aidan.

Today is Thursday, October 7, 2021 **The Booster Club is looking for volunteers to help with concessions tomorrow night from 6:30-9:00pm. Please sign up if you would like to volunteer. **Boys basketball will have an open gym today at 3:15. You must be registered in 8to18 to attend. If you have any questions see Mr. Beatty. **The Booster Club is looking for volunteers to help with concessions this Saturday, October 9th from 9-11 am and 11-1 pm. Please sign up if you would like to volunteer. **Tomorrow is a home football game and Spirit Club is sponsoring a tailgate party with free hot dogs, chips, and soda/water for all EAWR students and staff in the bus circle from 6:15-6:45. The theme for the game is neon and Spirit Club has purchased glow necklaces/bracelets, as well as, color run powder. If you choose to use the colored powder please wear old clothes. We would like all EAWR students to sit in the student section located at the north end of the stadium. **Senior cap and gown packets were distributed to seniors during academic lab on Monday. If a senior was absent please see Mrs Hayes in the Guidance Office for a packet. All orders for cap and gown/other senior items are due today during the lunch hours. Jostens is asking for a $60 deposit if ordering additional items. They will accept cash, card, or a check.
