**On Wednesday, October 27, there will be a meeting in the auditorium during academic lab for junior and senior students who are interested in helping out with this year's Oiler Olympics. If you would like to attend the meeting, please see Mrs. Kinkel in the cafe or Mrs. Boyd for a pass. Students without passes will not be able to attend the meeting that day.
**Seniors! There will be a workshop for you and your parent/guardian to attend on October 25th at 6:00. We will discuss financial aid for college and will help you fill out the FAFSA. The FAFSA is something you need to fill out for graduation and also if you plan to attend college. Please let Mrs. Struif know if you will be attending.
**There will be a girls basketball meeting this Thursday during academic lab in the auditorium. Please stop by attendance for a pass to attend.
**JFL is looking for volunteers to help with concessions and chain gang at this Sunday’s games at 11:30 and 1:30. If interested, please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Booster Club needs volunteers for Friday night's football game from 6:30-9 pm. If interested please sign up in the Google doc shared by Mrs Robinson.

Lifetouch will be back on campus tomorrow, Monday, October 18th, from 7:45am-11:15 am for Picture Retake Day. If a student missed the first Picture Day, please make sure to get a photo taken tomorrow. Forms are available in the Main Office.
Varsity volleyball traveled to Freeburg today for the Monster Mash Tournament. They went 1-3 with two of the losses coming against 20+ win teams (Nashville & Okawville). They defeated Greenville and came up just short against Hillsboro. Senior night is Monday night and EAWR students get in free with their ID as we look to pack the Crow's Nest!
Aidan Loeffelman ran a 17:10 three mile race today at the Cahokia Conference Meet at Okaw Valley Park. He finished third overall and made the All-Conference Team!

Girls tennis sectional has been postponed until tomorrow morning. Call time for players and coaches is 8:50 am. Coach Broadway will contact tennis players about departure time.
From Triad H.S for girls tennis sectional:
Currently at Triad we have wet courts and it's actively misting. We are going to push the start time to 2:00 so no one leaves yet. From 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm, there is a 40-50% chance of rain in Troy. For us to actually possibly play today, I'm going to say that at noon, the courts need to be almost totally dry OR that from 3:00 - 7:00 percentage needs to go down considerably. Don't leave yet. Another update will come around 11:30 or noon
Tonight before the rivalry game—EAWR vs Roxana at Roxana— The Riverbend Rotary Club will be sponsoring the Annual Chili Dinner. Proceeds from this fundraiser will go toward scholarships for EAWR and Roxana students.
