**Students, this week is homecoming spirit week. Make sure to participate in each dress day. Student council will be giving prizes for the students most decked out in their spirit wear!
**Coronation will be held at 7:30 pm this Saturday. This event is open to the public and all tickets must be purchased at the door for $5. Following Coronation there will be a short photo session in the East Building Courtyard.
The Homecoming Dance is after the Coronation this Saturday from 9-11 pm. The dance will be held in the Courtyard and students will enter through door E2. The cost for the dance is $5 paid at the door.
**There is a volunteer opportunity this Saturday at East Alton First United Methodist Church from 9-11 am. Volunteers will help clean up the grounds of the church. The church is located across from Eastwood School. Sign up in the Attendance Center.
**There will be a softball meeting for any girls that are interested in playing softball this spring during academic Lab tomorrow in Mr. Beachum's room.
**There will be a spirit club meeting tomorrow during academic in room E121 for all Spirit club members.

**Peer Leadership is looking for students to join our team for the 22-23 school year. Peer Leadership is a group of students who plan school-wide campaigns with the help of Chestnut Healthcare Systems that focus on mental and physical health and well-being. If interested, our first meeting will be today during academic lab in room E122 (next to the Spanish room). If you have questions, email Ms. Mueller or Mrs. Miller.

EAWR had the pleasure of having Wendell Flanders and his family attend the football game Friday night against Salem. Mr Flanders is a 1949 graduate of EAWR. He is also a Veteran of the United States Marines and was a member of the Oiler Football Team.

**The Oiler Booster Club is looking for volunteers tonight for the home football game to help with concessions from 6:30pm-9:30pm. If you’d like to volunteer please sign up in the attendance center.

**The Homecoming football game is tonight and the theme is Neon. If you want to use color run powder it will be available but be sure to wear an older white/light colored shirt. Glow sticks will be given away. Also there will be a tailgate with pizza, chips, soda/water from 6:15-6:40 in the bus circle. Come out and support the 3-0 undefeated Oilers!
