The New To You Community Event is Saturday, November 5th from 8 am -noon. If anyone is interested in making donations to the Oiler Store for the community day, drop off will be available on Monday, October 24th from 3-6 pm at the East Building/Bus Circle Doors (E2). Please no knives, large furniture, or appliances.

EAWR will be hosting a College and Career Night on Thursday, November 10th from 4-7 pm in the East Building Courtyard. All EAWR students, families, and surrounding community students/families may attend.
Nice work by Oiler Volleyball going on the road and sweeping Greenville. The Oilers have won 5 of their last 6 contests. Playoff t-shirts and crewneck sweatshirts will be available to order tomorrow (Wed) on the bus circle from 1:00-5:00 pm.
The City of Wood River has issued a boil order for the area of Wood River around the high school for the next 24 hours. We are requesting students bring their own bottled water to school tomorrow because water fountains will not be accessible.

Football playoff shirts and sweatshirts will be available for purchase by onsitetshirtsandmore. They will take orders from students during lunches on Wednesday & Friday. They will set up just inside the stadium gate by the tennis courts for the general public to order on Wed, Thu, and Fri from 1:00 until 5:00 pm. You may also email your order and sizes to onsitetshirtsandmore@gmail.com. T-shirts are $20 and crewneck sweatshirts are $30. They accept cash, visa, or venmo and shirts must be paid for at the time of ordering.

**Chief Wells and the City of Wood River is looking for volunteers to walk in the WR Parade on Saturday, October 29th to hand out flyers for the chili dinner and also hand them out following the parade. You would need to arrive at 10 am and should be done around 12:30 pm. If you are interested please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Hartford Elementary is having a Fall Festival this Thursday. It will be held inside and they are in need of helpers for the games from 5:15-7:15pm. If you would like to volunteer please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Lifetouch will be here from 7:30-11:30am this Friday for Picture Retake Day. Students, faculty, and staff who did not get pictures taken in September, please take time to go to the auditorium for retakes. Also, if you are unhappy with the photos from our first picture day, this is your opportunity to get new ones. Order forms are available in the Main Office.
**The Wood River Police Department and Wood River Fire Department will be on campus Wednesday to meet with 11th and 12th graders in the auditorium during academic lab to go over safety drill information. They will then meet with 9th and 10th graders on Thursday the 20th, same place/same time.

**Whitelaw Avenue Baptist Church is hosting a 5th quarter after tonight’s football game until 11pm. There will be a bonfire, snacks, games, inflatables and music. This is a free event for all students 7th-12th grades.
