**The Cafe’ will be closed all day Thursday and Friday this week.
**This Friday will be a half day with an 11:25 dismissal.

The EAWR College and Career Fair is Thursday, November 7th from 5 to 7 pm in the Memorial Gym. All EAWR students and parents, as well as, students/parents from other districts are welcome to attend.

**The student council is hosting a pumpkin painting party and contest after school today. If you would like to participate, please sign up in the attendance center. There are still openings available so sign up this morning. Voting for the contest will take place on Halloween and the winners will receive prizes.

Our JV tournament is underway both here and at the Wood River Rec Center! 16 teams, 4 games every hour!

**There is another volunteer opportunity tomorrow at 9:30 am at the Wood River VFW to help bag toys for Toys for Tots. If you are interested in volunteering please go to the Wood River VFW this Saturday.
**Students–The East Alton Methodist Church (across from Eastwood School/East Alton Middle School) will be having a campus clean up from 9 am until noon tomorrow. If interested in volunteering please sign up on the shared document.
**The Oiler Booster Club is in need of 4-5 volunteers for tomorrow’s volleyball tournament from 8:00 am-4pm. Please mark the times that you can volunteer. Volunteers are needed all day.
**Today is Picture Retake Day! If you missed Picture Day in September, or want a do-over on the pics you had taken, today is your chance! Stop by the Auditorium between 7:45 and 11:15 AM to get your photo taken. Lifetouch forms are available in the Main Office.
**Juniors and Seniors: The After Prom Committee is sponsoring a road block tomorrow from 8am-2pm at the intersection of Wood River Ave & Penning. Students that volunteer can earn community service hours. Please use the link Mrs. Robinson sent to your email to sign up. It is very important that if you sign up that you show up. Also if you volunteer please wear an Oiler t-shirt.
**The theme for football tonight is black and orange--halloween colors. It is also Senior Night. There will be no tailgate before the game. Please remember that if you are in attendance, you are here to cheer for the Oilers. Students are expected to sit in the student section. Students may not congregate behind the stadium, in bathrooms, or by the ticket gates. Additionally, students who leave through the gates to the bus circle may not return. Once you leave the stadium, you must leave campus.

Come enjoy some chili before the Refinery Bowl game between the Roxana Shells and the EAWR Oilers! Please note that football tickets will only be sold at the bus circle gates beginning at 5:30. If coming to eat before 5:30, please come to the South Gate on Carringer Street.


Earlier this month Connor prepared an audition tape that was sent in, along with over 1000 other tapes from high school students in district 6. Connor was selected to be a member of the ILMEA District 6 All- District Band. This is such a huge honor. Congratulations Connor!!


ESports is the lone program competing on this Wednesday, October 16. They have a Valorant match with West Central at 5:00. Our results from Tuesday night are also included with this posting. Go Oilers!
