**The Village of Hartford is having Christmas Bingo tonight from 5-9 pm at the Hartford Gym. If you would like to volunteer for this event please sign up in the Attendance Center.
**Juniors and Seniors- After Prom needs volunteers to sell raffle tickets at each boys and girls home basketball game in December. This is a fundraiser for the junior/senior After Prom. Also anyone that signs up will receive community service hours. Please note there are multiple dates so you can pick and choose what to sign up for.
**ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS: If you are interested in auditioning for the Spring 2025 Production of Spongebob the Musical, the EAWR Drama Club invites you to participate in the first Dance and Audition Boot Camp running this week. Tomorrow will showcase Musical Theater dancing and a hip hop routine from 4:30-7:30pm. Friday will include How To Audition for Musicals taught by Ms. Goodbrake and Mrs. Norton at 5:00pm.
Auditions for the Spring Musical will be held on Monday, December 16th at 4:30pm in the EAWR Auditorium. Callbacks will be indicated during your audition and should report to the auditorium at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 18th.
If you are interested in working tech/backstage crew for the musical, please contact Ms. Goodbrake or sign-up on the tech sheet during the audition dates.
The theme for tomorrow night for girls basketball is Country Club.
**Students: Please complete the Capturing Kids Hearts Survey sent to you by Mrs. Robinson by this Friday. The survey should only take 5-10 minutes and the link is in your email.
**The CCC will be closed tomorrow during academic lab.
**Haley Pratt will be signing to play softball for Missouri Baptist this Friday during academic lab in the auditorium.
**The freshmen mentor meeting is today in the Memorial Gym during academic lab. Senior mentors need to be released to the gym at 10:30 am and freshmen sent at 10:45. Students shouldn't leave the room on Wednesday during academic lab unless they are a mentor or a freshman.
**Final exams are December 17th and 18th and the exam schedule has been shared with students. Students are required to take all finals unless on the exemption list or have an A or B in the class. All information is available to students in Google Drive.

During Academic Lab, the teenMental Health First Aid Leadership Group held a Mindful Monday Yoga Session led by Mrs. Zipprich. Students who signed up for the free, no experience necessary, 25-minute session were taught introductory level deep breath and movement techniques.
The goal of Mindful Monday Yoga is to give students a chance to remove themselves from their technology, be in a safe & quiet space, to introduce skills that can assist them with stress, fatigue, anxiety, and inspire a new way to support their mental & physical well-being.

**MORP is tonight after the home basketball game. Students attending the dance need to enter the bus circle doors, E2 and go through the evolve system. Reminder that tickets can be purchased during academic lab for $5, the price goes up to $7 if you purchase at the door.
**The Hartford Library will be having an Old Fashion Christmas this Sunday from 4-9 pm. If you would like to volunteer for this event please sign up in the Attendance Center. Bonus: Virgil Ellis will be making an appearance as Santa:)

**Mrs. Robinson shared the 1st semester attendance exemption list. In order to be on this list a student must have 3 or fewer excused absences and 2 or fewer tardies. If you clear obligations and have a C or better in a class you don't have to take that final. Mrs. Robinson also shared the senior community service list. In order to be on that list a senior must have 6 or fewer absences. If you clear obligations and are passing the class you don't have to take that final. Something new this year, that is separate from this list, is if a student has an A and now a B because of the student council food drive, regardless if you are on the attendance list, you are exempt from the final that you have an A or B in the class. This list has taken a lot of time to put together so there could be errors. If you think there is an error please stop by the Attendance Center. This list will also be updated for attendance daily.

Congratulations to Our Newly Certified Teen Mental Health First Aiders!
This semester, Mr. Duncan's 2nd & 5th Period Health Classes were certified in Teen Mental Health First Aid, guided by School Psychologist Mrs. Caraway and Interventionist Mrs. Venvertloh—both of whom are Certified Instructors.
With 48 additional students now certified, EAWR continues to grow a community that supports mental health awareness. These students gained vital skills, including recognizing warning signs, asking thoughtful questions, listening empathetically, connecting peers with trusted adults, and maintaining supportive relationships.
A heartfelt thank you to the Madison County Mental Health Board, our amazing students, and dedicated staff for working together to increase awareness, provide resources, and build a stronger, healthier community.
