Wood River, IL – East Alton-Wood River High School has completed one of the final finishing touches in the Memorial Gym lobby renovation: the installation of a bold new Oiler logo inlaid directly into the floor.
The design, prominently featuring the iconic oil derrick and “OILERS” lettering in maroon, gold, and black, sits at the heart of the newly renovated lobby. Installed with precision craftsmanship, the custom flooring enhances the modern look of the space and reinforces Oiler pride for students, staff, alumni, and visitors.
The Memorial Gym lobby renovation has transformed the entryway into a welcoming showcase of school spirit and history. Updates include new flooring, graphics, lighting, and design elements that celebrate Oiler athletics and tradition. The floor logo adds a lasting centerpiece that ties the entire project together.
