East Alton Wood River High School is proud to unveil the newly redesigned Memorial Gym floor—just in time for the upcoming 2025–2026 athletic season!
Over the summer, our historic gymnasium received a major refresh with a striking new court design, blending the tradition of Oiler Nation with a bold, modern look. The updated floor features enhanced graphics, crisp new lines, and the unmistakable EAWR pride front and center.
Reminder: Lobby Renovation – In Progress, Debuting August 14!
Construction is already underway on a full transformation of the Memorial Gym lobby, with completion scheduled for August 14, 2025, just in time for the new school year and fall sports kickoff.
Key Enhancements Include:
Restored Entryway & Central Ticket Booth – Fans will once again purchase tickets at the original booth, reviving a beloved game-day tradition.
New Concession Area – A redesigned, efficient space for concessions will improve crowd flow and service.
Interactive History Walls – Two 65-inch touchscreen displays, powered by RocketAlumniSolutions.com, will showcase Oiler athletic history—highlighting hall of famers, legendary teams, and unforgettable moments.
Enhanced Visual Experience – The entire space will receive modern lighting, updated ceilings and floors, high-impact wall graphics, and illuminated signage that honor both past and present Oilers.
