Our current system known as SchoolReach was merged with a new company called SchoolMessenger. SchoolMessenger will be the service we will use after January 15th to make any snow announcements, cancellations, etc. The new system will draw your telephone number directly from our Skyward data base, so any changes you might make in terms of email or phone numbers will update immediately in SchoolMessenger.
It is important that you log-in to your Skyward Family Access - the same portal you use to check your son-daughter's grades and attendance - to also see if we have the correct phone number in our data base. If we don't have the correct or desired phone number, we ask that you change that number yourself, directly in your Family Access information. It's simple and quick. Also, we ask that you update your email address, since SchoolMessenger can also be used to send out mass emails with these types of announcements.
We would ask your cooperation that, in the event of bad weather to also continue to check local TV stations and the school Website (and the new Facebook page), and not solely rely on the SchoolMessenger to get that information - especially during this transition phase. We suspect most of you do that, anyway, of course.
