9-1-1 1st Responder Addresses Students

Our EAWR students were fortunate to see a presentation in our Auditorium from one of the 1st responders to the 9-1-1 terrorist attack on the Pentagon. He just also happens to be one of our parents - Don Welch - who was a member of the US Army, assigned at the time to a Joint Military Rescue Unit in the nation's capital. He brought some artifacts and photos from the rescue and recovery work to which he was assigned for almost two weeks in the aftermath of the Pentagon attack. Thanks Mr Welch for bringing your stories of that awful event to our students - most of whom cannot remember that day due to their age.
