**The girl’s volleyball team is selling their gently used backpacks.  Over the shoulder maroon with embroidery are $7 and maroon without embroidery are $5.  See Ms. Scott if interested.

**Seniors; The Priority Deadline of December 1 for many college applications is only two weeks away.  Do not miss this deadline.

**There will be a brief Scholar Bowl meeting after school today in Mrs. Miller's room, E222. The meeting will begin at 2:40. If you are interested in participating in Scholar Bowl this year, please be there. If you are interested, but unable to attend, please see Mrs. Miller or send her an email. 

**Book Buddies will hold their monthly Book Talk Meeting in the library this Friday during Academic Lab.  All members are asked to arrive promptly.  

**The Oiler Hockey Team is looking for a student or two to be an announcer at the games this year.  If you are interested please contact Mrs. Robinson.  Also the hours would count towards community service.

**Mr. Colona is looking for volunteers to help with the Great River Road Run on Saturday, November 26th from 6:30 am until 2 pm.  If you are interested in volunteering please email Mr. Colona at russc1956@yahoo.com or at rcolona@easd13.org.

**The City of Wood River is hosting Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 10th from 
8am-10:30 am .  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mrs. Daniels at the WR Park and Rec at 254-3130 or email the Park and Rec at office.wrparks@gmail.com.  Please be sure to contact the WR Park and Rec and not Mrs. Robinson to sign up. 

**The food drive is showing some improvement this week so student council has decided to extend it until the end of this week. We will also be collecting money during advisory and academic lab to go along with our items and each dollar will equal 1 item.  Here are the totals so far:  
Freshmen: 16 items and $5= 21 total
Sophomores: 72 items and $7=79 total
Juniors: 62 items and $5=67 total
Seniors: 28 items and $16= 44 total

**Dream Home Charities in Wood River is looking for volunteers to help unload semis to donate items to area non-profit agencies.  They are needing volunteers on Saturday, December 3rd, from 6 am-9 am and then again from 2:30 pm-4:30pm at the Dream Home Reality location at 6th Street and Ferguson in Wood River.  If you are able to volunteer please contact Sherry Gilliland at gilleland27@sbcglobal.net
