**Reminder that there will be a workday after school today.

**If you would like to volunteer to work at Hartford’s Day Camp, June 22-26th, you can pick up an application in the Main Office or Attendance Center.  Deadline is May 1st

**Friday will be blue shirt day to raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.  You can purchase your sticker during lunch or before/after school from Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels.  Stickers are $1 and must be purchased in order to wear a blue shirt.

**Seniors - Please be checking your email.  Any new individual scholarships that come through Guidance are now being pushed out to your email account.

**Summer school forms are available from the Guidance Office. Please see your counselor to pick up a form.  We will be offering credit recovery for Geometry, Algebra Physical Science, and English.  Summer school is free for all EAWR students and it starts on Monday, June 1st.

**Seniors - Your deadline to return library books and pay fines is Friday, May 8

**We are asking students and staff to bring your used shoes to the Drop Off Boxes outside the Attendance Center or the Main Office from now until May 11th. The Shoeman Water Projects will turn your used shoes into clean drinking water. Once collected, the shoes are exported to street vendors in places like Kenya, Haiti and South America for resale. The street vendors receive shoes for resale and people in those communities can purchase shoes for pennies on the dollar.  Funds from exporting the shoes goes to purchasing well drilling rigs, water purification systems, and other supplies to bring clean, fresh water to communities in need around the world. To participate, gather all the shoes you don’t wear anymore and rubber band or tie them together.  Bring your shoes to our drop-off bins outside the Main Office or the Attendance Center.  We accept any kind of shoes as long as they don’t have holes.  For more information about the EAWR Interact Club shoe drive contact Dr. Pearson.  To learn more about Shoeman Water Projects visit www.shoemanwater.org.

**Students signed up for the blood drive on Thursday need be sure and eat breakfast and drink plenty of water before donating. You should also bring some type of photo ID. You will receive a pass at the beginning of the hour that you will be donating and should report to the aud. gym at the time stated on the pass.

**Anyone that was on high honor roll 1st semester can pick up Cardinal ticket vouchers from Mrs. Hayes in Guidance.

**All seniors please check your tassel that came with your graduation gown to make sure it is solid maroon.  If it is maroon and gold, please see Mrs. Hayes immediately.
