**Student Council will be hosting a blood drive on April 30th during hours 1 through 5. If you would like to donate, please see Mrs. Timmins before or after school or during academic lab to sign up. You must be 16 (with parent permission) or older to donate. Donors will receive pizza and a t-shirt!
**Seniors: The Wood River Lions Club Scholarship and the Wood River Masonic Lodge Scholarship are due to Mrs. Woodman this Friday.
**There will be an important student travel meeting this week for Mr. Marshall’s student travelers going to Costa Rica this June. The meeting is today at 6:00 p.m. in Mr. Marshall’s classroom. Your parents/guardians are encouraged to attend.
**Students, Faculty and Staff: Once you read really good book, make sure you post it on the Apple Tree in the library in order to win a prize. A drawing will be held on May 11 and the winner’s name will be announced on May 12th. Good luck to all who enter.
**Seniors: The Wood River Rotary Scholarship, East Alton American Legion Scholarship, and the Wood River Shirley Thatcher Women’s Club Scholarship are due to Mrs. Woodman by Tuesday, April 21st.
**Students: If you are interested in making SPRING CRAFTS you need to pick up a flyer from our school library this week. The CRAFT MAKING EVENT will be this Friday, April 17 at the Wood River Public Library after school from 3:30 to 4:30 for grades 6 through 12. It is FREE, ALL materials are supplied and NO registration is required.
**Friday, April 24th is the next early dismissal day and our next service project. I will be taking students to the Community Hope Center to volunteer at the center and garden. The sign up sheet is in the attendance center. Also everyone going must ride the bus to and from the activity and the bus will leave the bus circle at 12pm and return at 3pm.
**Volleyball players wanting to order a t-shirt need to have money to Ms. Scott by this Friday.
**The EAWR Educator Scholarship is due to Mrs. Woodman by Thursday, April 23.
