REPRESENTATIVES from the following colleges will be on campus the following days:

  • Greenville University - today

  • Quincy University - tomorrow

  • St. Louis Community College - on October 29th


JUNIOR & SENIOR students interested in meeting with any representatives may obtain a pass from their guidance counselor.


STUDENTS ARE INVITED to the Illinois Regional College Fair being held at Morris University Center on the campus of SIUE tonight from 6-7:30 pm. Over 90 in- state and out of state representatives will be present, so this is a great opportunity for all students to get more information on the college they’d like to attend.


ANY GIRLS INTERESTED in playing indoor soccer who is going to play in the spring needs to see Coach Lawson to sign up!


ANY BOYS INTERESTED in trying out for the bowling team must attend a meeting today at the start of academic lab in Coach Lawson's room, E211. If you plan on attending, make sure you get a pass today from either Coach Lawson or Coach Herron.

ALL GIRLS INTERESTED in trying out for the bowling team will meet in the beginning of November.


ATTENTION BASEBALL PLAYERS there will be a signup sheet outside Coach Duncan's health room. Please sign up if you want to play baseball this year and take part in the fall practices. Again, that sheet will be outside room E204.


THE WOOD RIVER MUSEUM is looking for volunteers on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3-4 pm and also on Saturdays from 1-4 pm. If you are interested in volunteering, please check your email for some more information.


DURING THE SCHOOL DAY on November 8th, Student council will be hosting a blood drive. Students 16 and over may donate. Please see or email Mrs. Timmins to sign up. All students who attempt to donate will receive a t-shirt.


LOVEJOY UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH in Wood River is  looking for volunteers for their Fall Festival this Saturday from 2-5 pm.  If you’d like to help out, please check your email for some more information, as well as the flyer that was sent out.

A COMMUNITY GROUP is looking for volunteers to walk in the Alton Parade on Halloween to raise drug awareness. Volunteers will hand out literature, and also pass out “just say no to drugs” bracelets. If you are interested in volunteering, please check your email for additional details.
