**The Wood River Library is looking for two volunteers each week to help with the Illinois Junior Chefs Program today, January 31st and February 7 from 3:45-5:45 to help set up, clean up, and assist with cooking class.  If you are interested please sign up in the attendance center.

**The Wood River Library is looking for volunteers to help with story time on  Saturday, February 11th from 9:30 am-11:30 am.  They are looking for a total of 10 volunteers.  If you are interested please sign up in the attendance center.

**Students:  There will be a community service opportunity this Friday.  Students will be decorating cupcakes/cookies for local nursing homes and making valentines for the Veterans Hospital in St Louis. We will also be delivering the cupcakes/cookies to the nursing homes. If you are interested in volunteering we will start at noon and be done at 3pm.  Students must ride the bus to the nursing homes and will go admin/guidance staff.  If you are interested in volunteering please sign up in the attendance center. 

**Bring your cash! Once again Big Sisters will be sponsoring the Pennies for Patients fundraiser now through Wed. Feb. 15th.  This will be a competition for 3rd hour classes.  Students/Faculty/Staff will donate money to the boxes for the length of the fundraiser with the goal of raising the most money.  If the school as a whole raises at least $500, the winning class will get a pizza party.   All money collected with go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of St. Louis.  Thank you in advance for your support! 

**There will be a National Honor Society meeting on Thursday in the Lecture Hall during Academic Lab for students who were previously invited to apply.  We will discuss the application process.  If you cannot make the meeting but are still interested in applying, please see Ms. Mueller in E122.

**Seniors:  Please be sure to check your email for the latest updated scholarship list.

**Seniors:  A reminder that the Bank of Edwardsville Scholarship must be turned into Mrs. Woodman by Monday, Jan. 30.  

**Anyone wanting to play soccer this spring needs to see Mr. Lawson.
