**Coronation, crowning of the Harvest Queen, is at 7:30 pm on Saturday, September 30th in the Memorial Gym.  Tickets for the crowning can be bought in the Attendance Center through Friday the 29th for $4 or at the door the night of Coronation for $5.  There is a dance following Coronation that is held in the Courtyard from 9-11 pm and tickets for that are $5 each and can only be purchased at the door.  Students can choose to go to both or just one of them.  Please remember that the is a high school dance so dancing must be appropriate and if there is an issue school consequences will be assigned.  Also remember dresses/skirts must be fingertip in length and school clothes or better.  Homecoming guest forms are due tomorrow in order for your guest to attend the homecoming dance.  If there is an issue with your guest form you MUST see Mrs Robinson by tomorrow.


**There will be representatives from the following colleges on campus:

McKendree University,  today

Mt. Mercy University in Iowa, September 26

Junior and senior students interested in meeting with any of these representatives need to see their Guidance Counselor.

**There will be a meeting for anyone interested in joining the wrestling team tomorrow in Room E121, during Academic Lab.

**Seniors:  Wanting to retake the SAT in October?  Wednesday, Sept. 27th is the late registration deadline.  If you are on free or reduced lunch, you may receive a fee waiver. Please stop by and see your guidance counselor for more information.  Please note that for NCAA, test scores must come from the Collegeboard and not on a high school transcript.

**Current Big Sisters members:  We will meet tomorrow during Academic Lab in the Lecture Hall.  We are planning the induction of new members and we need all existing members to come.  

**Juniors and Seniors- The Lewis and Clark Youth Alliance is looking for volunteers this Saturday from 8:45-12:00 at Riverbend Family Ministries in Wood River next to the WR Post Office.  Students will help with supervising children in the bounce house. If you are interested please email Mrs Robinson.

**An assembly will be held today at 1:30 in the Main Building Auditorium to honor last year’s second semester Renaissance winners.   If you are one of these students, please leave 5th period at 1:15 today and report immediately to the auditorium.


**Students: Breast cancer awareness t-shirts can be ordered until October 4.  Shirts are $8 and an additional $5 if you want your name and a number on the back. Payment is due at the time of order.  Please see a coach or club sponsor if interested.  Thanks for your support.

**Sophomores-  Your class ring orders and $60 deposits are due tomorrow during the lunch hours.  If you are paying by check, make checks payable to Josten’s.  If you need a packet, drop by the Guidance Office.  

**There will be a spirit club meeting today in room E121 during academic lab.
