**The WR Library is looking for volunteers on December 3rd and December 9th. To sign up, please stop by the attendance center. Also, the WR Library is looking for volunteers to come in and sort books. This is something that you can scheduled around work, school etc. If interested please check your email for contact info. All volunteers need a volunteer application form and those can be picked up from Mrs. Robinson in the attendance center.

**Dream Home Charities in Wood River is looking for volunteers to help unload semis to donate items to area non-profit agencies. They are needing volunteers this Saturday, December 3rd, from 6 am-9 am and then again from 2:30 pm-4:30pm at the Dream Home Realty location at 6th Street and Ferguson in Wood River. **The East Alton Recreation Center is looking for volunteers for the annual Children's Christmas Party on Saturday, December 10th from noon-3pm. If you are interested please stop by the attendance center to sign up.
**The East Alton Recreation Center is looking for volunteers to serve at the Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner on Thursday, December 8th from 4:30-8pm. Volunteers will need to wear black pants and a black shirt. Seniors will have the first opportunity to sign up through Wednesday the 23rd and then sign up will open up to everyone. Stop by the attendance center to sign up.
**Juniors and Seniors: If you are interested in volunteering for the Salvation Army Bell Ringing please be sure to check your email for the link to sign up. Also be sure to reference EAWR when you sign up.
**The MORP dance will be held on December 16th after the home basketball game. The dance will last 2 hours and cost is $5 in advance and $6 at the door. Guest forms are available if you plan to bring a non-EAWR student. Forms can be picked up from Mrs. Timmins and are due back December 9th. MORP is a dress down dance so students will wear their Christmas class color day attire, which will be sent out later this week.
**Have you heard what the spring production will be? EAWR will be doing the musical The Wizard Of Oz!!!! We will need lots of students and staff! Think about being part of this great show! Auditions will be after Christmas. See Mrs. Ledford or Choir/Band Director, Mr. Alexander if you have questions.
Do you not sing? There are a few non-singing roles in the Wizard Of Oz! Think about auditioning in January for our all-school-production! "There's No Place like home" here at EAWR!!!
**Big Sisters: Please give your donation money for Oasis gifts to your group leader by tomorrow. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Parmentier or Mrs. Miller. Also, if you have any red decorations for our Big Sisters Christmas tree, bring them to M205 Mrs. Parmentier's room as soon as possible.
**All girls are invited to Strength and Agility workouts with Coach Emerick. Workouts are Tuesday and Thursday after school. See Coach Emerick in the main gym or weight room. Get stronger, get better.
**Time is running out to buy your yearbook for $50. The price goes up to $60 second semester, so if you want it for the lower price, be sure to buy it before First Semester Exams! You can reserve your book with Mr. James in M-009 or by using eawr.revtrak.net.
**Attention Seniors--If you had a senior photo taken by an outside photographer and want that portrait in the yearbook, please give it to Mr. James before January 13. You can give him a hard copy, or email a high resolution digital photo to firstname.lastname@example.org. January 13 is also the deadline for senior baby pics.
