**Representatives from the following colleges will be visiting our campus.  Here are the dates and times: 

            SIUE on October 3 at 9:00

College bound juniors and seniors may get a pass from Mrs. Hayes in Guidance to meet with these representatives in Room E106. 


**The Oiler Booster Club is looking for volunteers to help with the WR Fish Fry this Saturday, October 4th at the WR Fire Station.  They need volunteers from 1:00-3:30 and then from 3:30-6:00.  Please stop by the attendance center if you are interested in signing up.

**"The students who were invited to go with Mr. Marshall to Costa next summer and are serious about going need to at least register with EF Tours today with just a $95 down payment to lock in the current trip rate.  The trip's cost increases an additional $100 after September."


**East Alton Rec Center is looking for volunteers to help with Soccer Tots this Saturday and next Saturday.  If you are interested please send Mrs. Robinson an email and she will pass your name to the Rec Department or sign up in the Attendance Center.


**Juniors/Seniors:  Interested in occupations such as Nursing, Dental Hygienest, and Occupational Therapy Assistant?  Representatives from Lewis and Clark Community College's Health Science programs will here on October 6th at 1:45.  If you are interested, please sign up with Mrs. Woodman this week.


**The City of East Alton is looking for volunteers to help with their senior citizens Halloween Dinner and Dance.  The party is on Thursday, October 16th from 4:30-8:30 pm at the EA Keasler Center.  If you are interesting in signing up please stop by the attendance center.


**The last JFL game of the year is this Saturday and they need volunteers.  Games start at 10 so they will need volunteers from 9:30am until 5 pm.  If you are interested in signing up for a time slot please stop by the attendance center.


**A new LIBRARY LATE LIST has been posted.  Students are reminded to clear their fines as soon as possible and to return books on time.


**CHECK  IT  OUT.  The Library HAS SEVERAL NEW TITLES and NEW SERIES BOOKS available for check out.   Stop in and look for something new to read. 


**The Queen's Dance will be after the Coronation reception this Saturday and should start around 9 or 9:15.  The cost is $5 and money will be taken at the door. No tickets are sold before the dance.  The Coronation ticket is separate from the dance ticket and no one except the candidates and escorts gets in free.  Be sure to check the dress rules for dances. Remember this dance is open to EAWR students and if a student wants to take a guest a form must have been turned into the attendance center last week.
