**Representatives from the following colleges will be visiting our campus.  Here are the dates and times: 

            Truman State University, September 22 at 2:00

            Pittsburg State University, September 25 at 10:00

College bound juniors and seniors may get a pass from Mrs. Hayes in Guidance to meet with these representatives in Room E106. 

 

** Queens Dance Guest forms must be signed and turned in no later than September 26th.

 

**The Wood River Public Library is hosting a Divergent Party today from 3:30-4:30 p.m.  No pre-registration is required.   Call or stop by the library for more information.

 

**There will be a Peer Leadership meeting Monday, September 22, in the cafeteria during Academic Lab.  Interested in joining?  Applications are available in the Main Office or Mrs. Lemmon’s room. 

 

**Class ring deposits of $60 and paperwork are due today during the lunch hours. 

 

**On Wednesday, September 24th Christians in Action invite all students, faculty and staff to join us for the nation-wide See You At The Pole event.  We will meet at 7:30 am at the flagpole in front of the main building. Don't miss this event! See Ms. Mueller in E122 for more details.

 

**Donate $1 to the Alzheimer’s Association to get a wristband to wear a purple shirt on Thursday, September 25, 2014 in honor of the millions of people suffering from the disease.  Wristbands will be on sale before and after school in the East Building Courtyard and Ms. Scheffel’s room from Monday, September 22 through Thursday morning, September 25. 

 

**JFL (youth football) is looking for volunteers to help on Saturday, Sept 27th starting at 9 am until 7pm.  Shifts are in 2-hour time slots and all games are played at our stadium.  If you want to sign up please stop by the attendance center.  Volunteers will help in concessions, run chains, and other tasks.  

 

**Book Buddies will host their first book talk meeting today in the library during Academic lab.  

Make sure you have a corridor pass and bring a friend.
