**Anyone interested in joining Mr. Daniels’ Germany/Austria trip for June 2016 should come sign up for a Parent Meeting on Wednesday, September 16th at 6:00 in the Mr. Daniels room E208.  Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to visit Germany and Austria!

 

**The following colleges will be on campus to talk to interested junior and senior students:

            McKendree University today

            SIUE today

            Ranken and Illinois State University on September 16

            Greenville College on September 17

See Mrs. Hayes in Guidance for a pass.

 

**There will be a tailgate party before tonight’s home football game.  All EAWR students are invited to attend.

 

**There will be a meeting for all girls running for homecoming queen after school in the library.  If you are in co-op and can't come back for the meeting please see Mrs. Robinson.  Remember that your ticket money and all paperwork are due today.

 

**Don't forget to have FUN.   There is still time to post a name and date on the SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAY BOARD.  Cost is only .25 cents.  See Ms. Budde in the library to help you or a friend celebrate.

 

**The Alzheimer’s Association roadblock is tomorrow from 8 am to 2 pm.  Ms. Scheffel is looking for students who want to earn some community service hours by working the roadblock.  Contact her by email or see her in Room M105 for details.

 

**The East Alton Rec Center needs volunteers for tomorrows Soapbox Derby.  If you would like to volunteer, please sign up in the Attendance Center this morning.  Volunteers need to report to East Alton Shop and Save by 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning and the derby should be over by 2 p.m.

 

**Current Big Sisters:  The first meeting of the year will be today during Academic lab in the Lecture Hall for existing members only.

 

**Queen’s Dance guest forms are available in the Attendance Center and are due back on October 2nd.

 

** "Students will be starting a chess club at EAWR.  The first meeting will be held after school on Wednesday, September 16, in room M221.  Anyone interested in joining is invited to attend or contact Mr. Alexander for more information."
