**Anyone interested in joining Mr. Daniels’ Germany/Austria trip for June 2016 should come sign up for a Parent Meeting on Wednesday, September 16th at 6:00 in the Mr. Daniels room E208.  Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to visit Germany and Austria!


**The following colleges will be on campus to talk to interested junior and senior students:

            Western Illinois University today

            McKendree University tomorrow

            SIUE tomorrow

            Ranken on September 16

            Greenville College on September 17

**There will be a tailgate party before tomorrow’s home football game.  All EAWR students are invited to attend.


**There will be a meeting for all girls running for homecoming queen after school tomorrow in the library.  If you are in co-op and can't come back for the meeting please see Mrs. Robinson.  Remember that your ticket money and all paperwork are due tomorrow.


**Don't forget to have FUN.   There is still time to post a name and date on the SEPTEMBER BIRTHDAY BOARD.  Cost is only .25 cents.  See Ms. Budde in the library to help you or a friend celebrate.


**Drama Club and Auditions for Coronation Speakers will be held today after school in the auditorium.  All students may attend.


**In honor or September 11th, we will have Patriots Day tomorrow.  Students may wear a red or blue shirt or a shirt with a patriotic theme with code approved pants.


**The Alzheimer’s Association roadblock is this Saturday, September 12th, from 8 am to 2 pm.  Ms. Scheffel is looking for students who want to earn some community service hours by working the roadblock.  Contact her by email or see her in Room M105 for details.


**The first Student Council meeting will be today during Academic Lab in Room E206 (upstairs in the east building).  If you turned in your application, please attend. 


**There will be a Spirit Club meeting for senior members today during Academic Lab in Room E110.  We will have sign ups for underclassmen starting next week.


**The East Alton Rec Center needs volunteers for this Saturday’s Soapbox Derby.  If you would like to volunteer, please sign up in the Attendance Center by tomorrow morning.  Volunteers need to report to East Alton Shop and Save by 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning and the derby should be over by 2 p.m.


**Current Big Sisters:  The first meeting of the year will be tomorrow during Academic lab in the Lecture Hall for existing members only.
