**The Cheerleaders will be sponsoring the Queen’s Dance following Coronation on Saturday, October 8th and the cost is $5 per ticket.  Please be sure to follow the handbook rules for dress code—no jeans and dresses/skirts much be at least finger tip in length.  Please remember that this is a school event and students must conduct themselves in an appropriate manner when dancing.  Students that don’t follow the dress code or their conduct is inappropriate will not be admitted or asked to leave the dance.  Also all non-EAWR students will be required to turn in a guest form for the dance by September 30th.  Guest forms can be picked up and returned to the attendance center.

*The Marines will have a table set up today during lunch periods. Anyone interested should stop by and talk with Sergeant Marshall. 

**The Wood River Library is looking for volunteers to help with their Junior Chefs Program on Tuesday, Sept 20, Sept 27, Oct 4, and Oct 11th from 3:45pm-6:15pm.  If you are interested in being an extra set of hands while the children cook, please sign up in the attendance center.

**Big Sisters will have a meeting for current members this Wednesday after school in Mrs. Miller's room, E222. We will be planning for induction, so please make every effort to be there. If you cannot attend, please see Mrs. Miller during the day Wednesday.

**The sophomore class ring assembly is today during academic lab. All sophomores should report to the auditorium at the start of advisory.

**Juniors, sophomores and freshmen--STAR math testing will be administered tomorrow during 3rd hour and academic lab.  STAR reading test will be administered on Friday the 23rd during 3rd hour and academic lab.  Students need to have their fully charged Chromebook with them for testing. Students may use scratch paper during the test.  Seniors will attend a presentation from guidance about college applications, FASFA, and scholarships on both days.  All seniors should report to the auditorium tomorrow and Friday at 10:40 am.  There will be no meetings and students may not leave their 3rd hour on those days except for seniors.
