**St. Louis College of Pharmacy will be on campus today, and SIU Carbondale on Thursday.  College bound juniors and seniors interested in meeting with them need to see their guidance counselor.  


**Guest forms for the Queen's Dance are available in the Attendance Center.  All non-EAWR students will be required to turn in a form for the dance by this Thursday to the Attendance Center.  The Queens' Dance will follow Coronation on Saturday, October 19th. Guest refers to anyone who doesn’t go to our school. Your guest must be under 21, they also may not be in middle school.  Your guest must either be in high school or another educational program, unless they have already graduated and are under 21.


**Juniors and Seniors:  Next Monday, on Columbus Day, many colleges have open houses.  Take time to check these out, including the Open House at LCCC from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with free food, live DJ, contests, and games.  


**Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:  SIUE will be hosting a College Fair on Tuesday, October 22 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Over 100 colleges and universities will be there to answer any questions. Check it out on October 22nd!


Seniors:  Any senior student planning to attend college in the Fall must complete the FAFSA.  EAWR will be hosting a FAFSA night this Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. in the Library.  There will be college financial aid representatives here to help you complete this important application.  Spacing is limited so please reserve your space with Mrs. Woodman in Guidance.


**Reminder to seniors that proof of the required  meningococcal (meningitis) vaccine and also to freshmen that the required physical exam and immunization forms are due.  There is only 2 weeks until exclusion.

 

**Peer Leadership will meet tomorrow in the Lecture Hall during Academic Lab.  We will further discuss ideas from our workshop.

 

**Reminder to bring in canned goods and receive a free cookie from the Oiler Cafe’!   This will run through Thursday and you can get one free cookie per day if you bring in a canned good! 

 

**Coronation is Saturday, October 19th at 7:30 and the Queen's Dance sponsored by the cheerleaders will follow Coronation.  If you would like to purchase a ticket to Coronation they can be bought in the Attendance Center for $4 or at the door for $5.  The cost for the Queen's Dance is $5 and tickets can only be purchased at the door the night of Coronation. Please be sure to follow handbook rules for dress.  Also remember that this is a school event and students must conduct themselves in an appropriate manner when dancing.
