**Reminder to Student Council members that if you would like to run to be an officer, you must email Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daniels by the end of the day today. 

**Mrs. Kinkel is looking for students who are interested in participating as a peer partner and teammate for the unified bocce team and the unified basketball team for the 2019-2020 Oiler Special Olympic team. If interested, please see her in the cafe' during Academic Lab or send an email very soon:)

**Tonight is the first home football game and first tailgate of the season.  All faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend from 6-6:45 in the bus circle.  We will have free hot dogs, chips, soda/water and a giveaway. The theme for the football game is maroon and gold.  Be sure to wear maroon/gold to the game. Also freshmen will get into the game for free. Also, today is the pep assembly at the end of the day and we will run an altered schedule. The schedule can be found in your schedules folder in google drive. 


**Seniors:  If you plan to take the October SAT, you must register through the Collegeboard today. If you have any questions, please see your guidance counselor before the end of the school day today. 


**Any students interested in joining the D&D Club or the Art Club--if you have not been getting emails from Mr. James about the club or their first meeting, please email him right away to let him know you are interested. 


**Ms. Scheffel is having a yard sale to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Walk at SIUE.  If you would like to donate to the sale please bring items to Ms. Scheffel by Thursday, September 12th.  If you would like to help set up, sign up in Room M105 before Friday, September 13. The sale is from 8 am to 2 pm on Saturday, September 13th.  


**Blackburn will have a representative on campus on September 12th.  College bound juniors and seniors interested in meeting with them need to see their guidance counselor.  


**Current Big Sisters:  Our first meeting will be Friday, Sept 13th during Academic lab in the lecture hall.  Please attend.


**Junior and Senior girls interested in applying for Big Sisters should see Mrs. Miller or Mrs. Parmentier for an application.  Applications will be due by Friday Sept 20th.
