**The Cheerleaders will be sponsoring the Queen’s Dance following Coronation on Saturday, October 8th at a cost is $5 per ticket.  All non-EAWR students will be required to turn in a guest form for the dance by September 30th.  Guest forms can be picked up and returned to the attendance center.

**Juniors, sophomores and freshmen-- STAR reading test will be administered today during 3rd hour and academic lab.  All seniors should report to the auditorium today at 10:40 am.  There will be no meetings and students may not leave their 3rd hour except for seniors.

**The Wood River Fire Department is looking for volunteers to help with their annual fish fry on Saturday, October 1st.  Shifts are from 8-11 am, 11-2 pm, 2-5 pm, and 5-8 pm. If interested sign up in the attendance center.

**The following colleges will have representatives on campus:
September 26, Lindenwood, Belleville
September 27, Ranken
September 29, Blackburn College
See your Guidance Counselor if you would like to meet with any of these representatives.

**Due to the possibility of having early dismissal days this week because of heat the Renaissance Assembly has been moved from this Thursday to next Tuesday, September 27th at 1:30 in the auditorium.  Students involved in the assembly received notification earlier this semester.

**JFL needs volunteers for concessions tomorrow.  If interested, please sign up in the Attendance Center.

**Attention all students, faculty and staff: The annual See You at the Pole event will be held next Wednesday at 7:40 am around the main building flagpole by the electronic marquee.  This event will give us the opportunity to join schools around the nation that day in fellowship and prayer for our communities and our schools. There will be FREE giveaways for students who attend!  If you have any questions, see Ms. Mueller in E122.   

**The first day of Spirit week will be "Pink" day.  If you are interested in purchasing the volleyball "Pink" t-shirt, please fill out an order form.  Forms are available through Ms. Boyd, Mrs. Zipprich, or Ms. Scott.  It is NOT necessary to order the t-shirt--you may simply wear Pink.  However, all proceeds from t-shirt purchases will go to breast cancer awareness.  The volleyball teams will play our "Pink" game that Monday night.  As always, thanks for your support. 

**The Wood River and Roxana Park Departments are looking for volunteers for their Little Kickers soccer program for 3 and 4 yr. olds.  The program starts tomorrow at 9:00 am and offers 3 community service hours each Saturday morning for the next 4 Saturdays.  See Mr. Daniels for more information.

**Class ring orders along with the printed order forms and your $60 deposit are due today during the lunch periods.  Checks are to be made payable to Jostens.  

**The theme for tonight’s football game against Metro East Lutheran is “Neon Night”.  

**"EAWR Student Council and Spirit Club will be hosting a bonfire after the varsity soccer game at Memorial Stadium on Thursday, September 29th.  There will be activities and snacks served while you hang out by the fire.  This event is ONLY for EAWR students, so guests and family won't be able to attend.  The bonfire will end at 10:00 pm.  Come to the game, stay for the fire!"
