**Representatives from the following colleges will be visiting our campus.  Here are the dates and times: 

            Lindenwood-Belleville today at 10:30

            Eastern Illinois University, October 21, at 9:00

            University of Illinois Springfield, October 22, at 8:30

            MacMurray College, October 22, at 9:30

            Illinois College, October 22, at 10:00

College bound juniors and seniors may get a pass from Mrs. Hayes in Guidance to meet with these representatives in Room E106. 

 

**Picture Retake Day is today from 7:45 to 11:30.  

 

**The Wood River Public Library is sponsoring a free Halloween craft-making event for students today from 3:30-4:30.  Pick up a flyer from our library for more details.

 

**It is Teen Read Week! We hope you had a fun week of reading and that you were able to find inspiration or entertainment in every book!

 

**There will be a Big Sisters meeting today during Academic Lab in the Lecture Hall.  All members should attend

 

**There will be an “All Pink Day” on Wednesday, October 22, to raise money and support Breast Cancer Awareness.  Buy a sticker for $1 from Student Council members during A and B lunch hours today through next Tuesday in the Student Center…….wear as much pink as possible, and don’t forget to wear your sticker that will be given to you in first hour Wednesday morning. 

 

**Attention Juniors and Seniors:  Remember the College Fair that will be held at SIUE on Tuesday night from 6:00- 7:30 p.m.  There will be over 100 college representatives from around the country there.  Do not miss this great opportunity!

 

**Students:  Please be aware that any deposits you have made for your lunch account this week should be up to date by the end of the day today.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Luckert in the cafeteria.

 

**EAWR will be sponsoring a community service opportunity on the next half day, October 31, at Beverly Farms Foundation from 12:00-3:00 p.m.  If you would like to sign up to volunteer, please stop by the Attendance Center.  All students that sign up must ride the bus to and from the event.
