**Student Council will be hosting a blood drive on April 30th during hours 1 through 5. If you would like to donate, please see Mrs. Timmins before or after school or during academic lab to sign up. You must be 16 (with parent permission) or older to donate. Donors will receive pizza and a t-shirt!
**Seniors: The Wood River Lions Club Scholarship and the Wood River Masonic Lodge Scholarship are due to Mrs. Woodman today.
**Students, Faculty and Staff: Once you read really good book, make sure you post it on the Apple Tree in the library in order to win a prize. A drawing will be held on May 11 and the winner’s name will be announced on May 12th. Good luck to all who enter.
**Seniors: The Wood River Rotary Scholarship, East Alton American Legion Scholarship, and the Wood River Shirley Thatcher Women’s Club Scholarship are due to Mrs. Woodman by Tuesday, April 21st.
**The Wood River Library CRAFT MAKING EVENT is today after school from 3:30 to 4:30 for grades 6 through 12. It is FREE, ALL materials are supplied and NO registration is required.
**Friday, April 24th is the next early dismissal day and our next service project. I will be taking students to the Community Hope Center to volunteer at the center and garden. The sign up sheet is in the attendance center. Also everyone going must ride the bus to and from the activity and the bus will leave the bus circle at 12pm and return at 3pm.
**Volleyball players wanting to order a t-shirt need to have money to Ms. Scott today.
**The EAWR Educator Scholarship is due to Mrs. Woodman by Thursday, April 23.
**Auditions for this years “Pops” concert will be held next Thursday, April 23rd, after school in the band room. If you have any questions please see Mr. Alexander.
**A Navy recruiter will be on campus Monday during both lunch periods. If you would like information on joining the Navy, please stop by and see the recruiter.
