**$5 Fall athletic passes are on sale in the Attendance Center.  The pass will get an EAWR student into all home events for $5.  If you are playing a fall sport you can get into all other fall sports for free.

**If you got a 2016 yearbook last May but have not picked up your Spring Supplement, please stop by the Art Room (M-009) to get one from Mr. James.

**Chess Club will have their first meeting of the year today immediately after school in Mr. Alexander’s room M221.

**Senior girls that are interested in running for Harvest Queen need to attend a meeting after school tomorrow in the library. If there any questions please see Mrs. Robinson and this is a mandatory meeting.

** SIUE will be on campus on September 8th, at 10 am.  College bound junior and senior students interested in meeting with this representative need to speak with your guidance counselor.

**The City of East Alton is looking for volunteers to help with the Soapbox Derby on Saturday, September 10th from 9 am until 2 pm.  Students who volunteer will need to meet at EA Shop N Save by 9 am.  If you would like to sign up please stop by the Attendance Center in the East Building.

**If you would like to volunteer to work JFL concessions this Saturday please stop by the Attendance Center in the East Building to sign up.  Shifts are from 9 am-11:30 am and then from 11:30 am -2 pm.

**Student Council is currently accepting membership applications for the 2016-2017 school year.  All students wishing to be a member of student council must apply, even if you were a member last year.  Please check your school email for the StuCo application and complete the Google Form.  The deadline to apply will be Tuesday, September 6th.  We have a great year planned for our student leaders, so please check your email and apply today!"

**Spirit Club has decided on theme red, white, and blue for the student section at this Friday night's home game.  Please be sure to dress in the theme.  There will also be a give away to go with the theme at the tailgate starting at 6 pm.

**"Project 7 is a Christian-based organization that encourages students to participate in community and charity events. Also, a job P7 has is to bring a positive and uplifting message to students. P7 is student led and the meetings consist of a lesson, games and, of course, food!!!!  Project 7 is open to anyone who is interested. The first P7 meeting will be today after school in Mrs. Timmins' room. There will be food and games during this meeting.
