**Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:  SIUE will be hosting a College Fair on Tuesday, October 22 from 6:00-7:30 p.m.  Over 100 colleges and universities will be there to answer any questions. Check it out on October 22nd!

 

**Coronation is this Saturday at 7:30 and the Queen's Dance sponsored by the cheerleaders will follow Coronation.  If you would like to purchase a ticket to Coronation they can be bought in the Attendance Center for $4 or at the door for $5.  The cost for the Queen's Dance is $5 and tickets can only be purchased at the door the night of Coronation. Please be sure to follow handbook rules for dress.  Also remember that this is a school event and students must conduct themselves in an appropriate manner when dancing. 

 

**Seniors:   Volunteers are needed for Parent/Teacher conferences this Wednesday and Thursday  from 5pm to 8pm. Please sign up in the Attendance office with Mrs. Floyd. Reminder.. this will count towards service hours.

 

**Juniors:  Just a reminder for those who were eligible for the East Alton Rotary Scholarship, that applications are due this Thursday to Mrs. Woodman in Guidance.

**SIU Carbondale will be on campus today.  College bound juniors and seniors interested in meeting with them need to see their guidance counselor.  


**Guest forms for the Queen's Dance are due today!.


**Juniors and Seniors:  Next Monday, many colleges have open houses.  Take time to check these out, including the Open House at Lewis and Clark Community College from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. with free food, live DJ, contests, and games.

**Guest forms for the Queen's Dance are available in the Attendance Center.  All non-EAWR students will be required to turn in a form for the dance no later than tomorrow to the Attendance Center.  The Queens' Dance will follow Coronation on Saturday, October 19th. Guest refers to anyone who doesn’t go to our school. Your guest must be under 21, they also may not be in middle school.  Your guest must either be in high school or another educational program, unless they have already graduated and are under 21.

**Cap and gown orders along with a $60 deposits are due today during the lunch periods. If any senior is only ordering cap and gown only the $30 deposit is due today. If anyone needs an order packet please see Mrs. Hayes in the guidance office.

Stop by the Attendance Center to sign up. Please note that there is a home soccer and football game that day so if you commit you are expected to show up.
