**Vote for your favorite King of Hearts by donating money into his box in the East Building courtyard through 11:15am today!  

 

**The King's Dance will be held tomorrow from 7pm-10pm in the courtyard. Today is your last chance to get tickets from Mrs. Timmins or Mr. Daniels during Academic Lab or after school.  No tickets will be sold at the door.

 

**Seniors:  Please remember that the Lewis and Clark Community College Scholarship is due tomorrow.

 

**Seniors- Riverbend Family Ministries is hosting a fundraiser/trivia night tonight at the Alton Best Western and are in need of volunteers.  If you are interested in volunteering please email Mrs Robinson and she can give you the contact information to sign up.

 

**SENIORS: If you are interested in attending LCCC this summer or fall, please stop by the Guidance Office before Thursday, March 19th to sign up. Our Early Bird Registration date is scheduled for Thursday, April 2nd. When you sign up, please pick up an informational sheet and fill out a request of transcript. If you have any further questions, please see Mrs. Vambaketes.

**Attention new inductees of the National Honor Society - There is a MANDATORY meeting today in the lecture hall during academic lab.  During this meeting, you will receive instructions on how to create your biography that will be read aloud during the NHS ceremony. Please attend.

**Girls soccer will have a voluntary at the Complex in South Roxana today at 3pm and Thursday the voluntary will be in the Memorial Gym at 3pm.  Get your paperwork in!

**Big Sisters has partnered with Blackburn College to collect donations for a pet food drive.  Students can drop off dog/cat food, dog/cat treats, and clumping litter to the bins outside the Main Office and Attendance Center.  The drive will end tomorrow.

 

**Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors - The Fire and Police Departments from East Alton and Wood River will be here for a career presentation today during Academic Lab in the Auditorium.  Please sign up using the link sent to you in an email from Mrs. Robinson. **Student council will be selling candy kiss roses this week to be delivered on Friday. Roses are 1 for $1 or 6 for $5 and will be sold during lunch. This would be a great way to surprise a friend, loved one, or teacher on Valentine's day!

 

**Girls that are playing soccer in the spring.  There will be a voluntary today at The Complex in South Roxana from 3-4. 

 

**Tomorrow is the assembly to honor 2019-2020 first semester Renaissance winners.  The assembly will be held at 1:00 in the Auditorium. Teachers should all have a list of the Renaissance students.

 

**Due to our early dismissal last Wednesday, the new gay-straight alliance group will meet next Wednesday, February 19, during Academic Lab in Ms. Gardner's room E222.  If you'd like to attend, email Ms. Gardner so she can write a pass for you.

**Guest forms for the King's Dance are available from Mrs. Timmins and Mr. Daniels. Forms must be turned in by February 21st.  The King's Dance will be held on February 29th from 7pm-10pm in the courtyard. Tickets will be on sale the week before for $10 each.  

 

**Juniors:  EAWR will be offering a series of 4 SAT prep sessions for juniors to prepare for the April 14th SAT Test.  Each of the 4 sessions in the series will be offered two times. If a junior student attends each of the four sessions in the series, he/she will earn semester exemption second semester senior year.  Please sign up for each of the sessions in google drive. If there are questions, please see Mrs Robinson.

 

**There will be a representative from Illinois Wesleyan on campus tomorrow.  Any junior or senior interested in meeting with them may get a pass from your guidance counselor. 

 

**Juniors:  If you are interested in being in Co-Op your Senior year but don't currently have a job, please contact your Guidance Counselor.  There are positions that need to be filled.
