**Student Council will be hosting a blood drive after school on November 4th. The drive will be held in the Blood Center busses on our gym parking lot. You must be 17 or 16 with parental consent to donate. If you would like to make an appointment to donate, please see or email Mrs. Timmins. Parents, faculty, staff, and community members are welcome to donate as well, so please spread the word. 

 

**We are going to hold another community service project in the gym to finish the awesome painting that is taking place to make it look better.  

November 3rd from 8AM-1:00PM we will be painting in the gym again so if you can make it please wear old clothes.  You will enter thru door S3 to be wellness screened  and social distancing will be monitored while working.

Please come to the attendance center to sign up to help us with this amazing project to make the gym look better.

**Student council is hosting a pumpkin painting party for maroon students today and gold students tomorrow. It will be held at 2:25 in the East Building courtyard. In order to participate, you MUST sign up in the attendance center no later than 1:05 in order to participate that day. There are only 15 spots per day. All materials will be provided for you and your pumpkin will be submitted into a contest where you could win a gift card. Don't wait, sign up today!

**Reminder that all 9th grade physicals and immunizations and 12th grade meningitis shots need to be turned in to the nurse today. 

 

**If you were invited to the East Alton Rotary meeting, completed applications are due to Mrs. V today. 

 

**Lifetouch will return for Picture Retake Day next Tuesday and Wednesday, October 20th and 21st.  If you need to get your picture taken on Retake Day, forms are available in the Main Office.

**Reminder that all 9th grade physicals and immunizations and 12th grade meningitis shots need to be turned in next week no later than October 15th. 

 

**If you were invited to the East Alton Rotary meeting, completed applications are due to Mrs. V by Friday, October 16th. If you need an application form, please stop by the Guidance Office. 

 

**Seniors will be taking the SAT next Wednesday, October 14th and it will be a remote day for all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors,  Testing lists have been shared in google drive and seniors need to report to their assigned room by 8 am.  There will be no early bird and students need to bring a calculator and number 2 pencil.  Seniors will be dismissed around 1 pm at the end of testing.

 

**Freshmen, Sophomores, and Juniors:  Please remember that Wednesday is a full remote day because seniors will be taking the SAT.  Maroon students will only attend one day in-person next week on Friday and gold students will attend on Tuesday and Thursday.
